Meet the Team

Maui Hub is a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to provide local fresh and affordable produce and added value items to Maui residents.
Maui Hub handles the marketing, aggregation and distribution for farmers and small businesses, so they can spend more time growing and creating! We are on a mission to grow the demand for local goods and create a more sustainable food system on Maui.

Board of Directors

  • Autumn is the Executive Director of the Lahaina Community Land Trust. She is a co-founder of Maui Hub through her work with Beyond Pesticides, where the goal was to build systems that allow Maui's local organic & sustainable farmers to thrive. Autumn supports fundraising and growth strategies for the hub, connecting us to the larger county and state-wide food, agriculture, water and land protection movements. Hobbies include surfing, skateboarding and local foodie-kine things.

  • Emily has served on the Board of Directors since February 2021. Prior to that she volunteered as the West Side pickup site coordinator. She is the co-owner of Choice Health Bar, a locally sourced, whole food vegan restaurant group that she co-founded in 2011 with the mission to elevate the health of the community and the planet through fresh, plant-based nourishment. She brings her passion for this mission to her work with the Maui Hub, where her primary focus is around sustainable organizational development and supporting Maui’s farmers. Her hobbies include cooking, biking and hiking and spending time with her two dogs Pumpkin and Chopper.

  • Mike Hillinger is the owner of Iron Horse and a passionate supporter of Maui’s local business community. Known for his dedication to quality and strong relationships across the island, Mike brings a practical, community-driven perspective to our board as we continue to grow and serve local farmers, producers, and families.

  • Ann was the instructor and program coordinator for the Agriculture and Natural Resources program at UH Maui College for 33 years until her retirement in December 2021. Currently, she is keeping busy working with her husband on their small family farm in Wailuku, Kīhāpai Horticultural. Kīhāpai produces a wide variety of vegetables and fruits as well as Ti leaf for Hula skirts and florists while focusing on soil regenerative practices including no-till, cover cropping and mulching.

  • Gerry Ross owns and operates Kupa’a Farms with his wife Janet Simpson in Kula. It is a 4 acre organic biodiverse farm that raises vegetables, coffee, tropical fruit, and has focused on compost and food waste diversion as a means to build soil fertility. Kupa’a Farms has participated in farmers markets, ran a CSA for over 14 years, and sells to local restaurants. One of the mantras of Kupa’a Farms is to provide as much food as possible to the local community while deriving fertility from the waste stream. Keep it local from farm to table to farm.

  • Jake Sipes is part of the GoFarm Hawaiʻi network and a graduate of UH Maui College’s Sustainable Tropical Crop Management program. A true jack-of-all-trades, his experience ranges from farming and carpentry to restaurant management and creative work. Today, Jake and his partner run a small farm in Haʻikū, growing nutrient-dense food through regenerative practices with the goal of strengthening local food systems and community resilience.

Staff

  • Taylor Morrow is the General Manager of Maui Hub, where they focus on strengthening connections between local farmers, producers, and the community. Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Taylor moved to Maui in 2021 to continue a career in tourism before joining Maui Hub in 2026. Outside of work, they enjoy time with their dog and thinking about logistics (sometimes more than they’d like to admit).

  • Originally from Portland, Oregon Lisa moved to Maui in May of 2020. She immediately got involved with Maui Hub as a volunteer while she was completing her business degree online from Portland State University. Lisa then worked as an intern through the DA BUX program. Once completing her degree in HR Management and Leadership she began working for Maui Hub full time. Lisa is a jack of all trades, handling producer procurement, accounts management, customer service, and operations!

  • Born and raised on Maui, Sherron is Maui Hub’s Billing Coordinator and Added Value Procurement Manager. Since joining the team in 2024, she’s been an essential part of making sure everything behind the scenes runs seamlessly. As a mom of two young kids, she brings both heart and hustle to her work—and if you like getting paid on time, you’ll want to stay on her good side.

  • Kourtni is part of Maui Hub’s driving team, delivering groceries across the island with care and a smile. Born and raised on Oʻahu, she moved to Maui in 2010 and has been part of the community ever since. A mom, animal lover, and avid sports player, Kourtni is always on the move—good thing all those deliveries help keep her in shape. Maui Hub parkour, anyone?

  • Known to the team as Uncle Dave, he’s part of Maui Hub’s driving crew, bringing good vibes along with every delivery. Having traveled the world through music, Dave has a deep passion for sound engineering and a wealth of life experience. These days, he spends his weekends delivering for Maui Hub, sharing his energy and aloha with the community.

  • Originally from New Zealand, Paul has been part of Maui Hub’s packing team since 2024. Known for his reliability and positive attitude, he keeps things running smoothly—and brings a little Kiwi charm to the team (accent included).

  • A Lahaina native, Sylvain joined Maui Hub in 2026 after years in the restaurant industry. Bringing a background in fast-paced, detail-oriented work, he’s a great addition to the packing team and helps keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
